Owen – 2.5 Months Old
Time is absolutely flying! I guess that means that we are simply having fun. Actually, I’m not guessing that’s the case, I know that’s the case. Despite some of the challenges that parenting brings with a newborn, it is way underrated. Waking up in the morning is amazing just to pick him up out of his crib and hug him and see his smile. I find myself hurrying home from work to pick him up and hold him… Parenting as a whole is simply underrated, you can quote me on that…
This Christmas was very special for us as it was Owen’s first and our first as a family. Christmas is by far our favorite holiday of the year and words can’t describe how enjoyable it was for us. We spent Christmas with Melissa’s family in Gresham, OR and ended up spending the majority of the following 3 weeks down there.
This past weekend, my parents and sister flew in from San Antonio, TX to be at Owen’s baptism. It was the first time that my mom and sister had met Owen and it was great seeing my sister’s eyes light up with joy with all of her medical issues this past year (see http://danisolberg.com for details).
